adding an image on text.

This tutorial will teach you how to add an image to a text. It's really simple! Here's a example of the result:

1. First of all, choose a photo you'd like to add to the text. Type Ctrl + A and then Ctrl + C.

2. Then, open a new file in Photoshop by going to File > New. As you have copied the first photo, Photoshop should by default open a file the same size as the first photo. If not, make sure that this new file has the same size as the previous.

3. On this new file, enter the text you want.

4. After you have typed the whole text, press down the Ctrl key and click on the layer of the text (not the actual layer but the mini one in the palette). Your text should now look like this, with animated and dotted outlines.

5. When that happens, go to the other file (the one with the picture) and copy it (Ctrl + A then Ctrl + C). Come back to the text file and type Shift + Ctrl + V. It should look like this now:

6. You're basically done! You could add a background color like I did and improve the look of the text by changing the blending options. Right click on your layer and select Blending Options. On the left menu, choose Stroke and select your preferences. I chose: 1px; Outside; Normal; 100%; Color.

9. After that, go to Outer Glow which is higher up on the side menu. Select your preferences. I chose: Screen; 75%; 0%; Softer; 6%; 16px; 50%; 0%.

You're done!
